Strategies for a Dead Horse

17 01 2006

Commong sense wisdom says, “When you discover that you’re riding a dead horse, the best strategy is to dismount.” However in a large, liberal government, these more advanced techniques are often employed:

  1. Buy a stronger whip to be used on dead horse.
  2. Try a different rider.
  3. Ask France and Germany how they ride dead horses.
  4. Lower the standards so that dead horses can be included.
  5. Reclassify the dead horse as living-impaired, thus entitling it to special benefits.
  6. Rewrite the expected performance requirements for all dead horses.
  7. Promote the dead horse to a supervisory position.
