U.N. Happy for Fellow Socialists

The U.N. is on cloud nine about their fellow socialists victories yesterday.

Not surprised.

Neither is Michelle Malkin and Ed Morrissey:

Our Congressional elections really do not concern the UN – except, of course, as a means to celebrate the defeat of Republicans at the polls. That exposes the UN, or at least the Annan clique, as a bunch of unseemly meddlers. This comes as no surprise, of course, but they appear to be unconcerned now about being so open with their kibbitzing.

Anytime a more liberal, socialist party wins has to make U.N. humanists giddy.

UPDATED 11/9, 9:15 am – Sen. Biden says Bolton nomination going nowhere.

John Bolton ‘s troubled nomination as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations is “going nowhere,” Sen. Joseph Biden of Delaware said Wednesday after Democrats scored big in mid-term elections.

Before voters cast their ballots, there was talk of Bush re-submitting Bolton ‘s nomination.

Of course not, a real leader that Bolton has no business representing our new socialist majority in our government. Gotta put better representation in the U.N. Someone who will “just get along” and someone who will “value the rest of the world’s opinions.” Phgghhh.
