Alan Sears, President, CEO, and General Counsel of Alliance Defense Fund, opens by touting the victories in family and religious liberty arenas.

Highlights Emily Brooker’s story. Her Missouri State college professor assigned an experiment to the class that required the students to become lobbyists to the Missouri legislature in favor of adoption by same-sex couples. She declined the assignment. The professor assigned a Level 3 Grievance against her. In other words she was forced to sit in front of an “ethics” committee that berated her faith, her values, and her integrity. Emily turned to ADF for help and the school quickly settled and cleared her record.

Sears reminds us of ADF’s success in stopping the illegal same-sex marriages in San Francisco and that 38 states have successfully passed Defense of Marriage Acts.
