Chris Matthews Exploits Tim Russert’s Death

Chris Matthews, host of the MSNBC show HardSoft Ball, renowned for tossing easy questions to Democrats, exploited Tim Russert’s death to insult the American people about being duped into supporting the War in Iraq. Watch this short segment:

Can you stoop any lower? Matthews used a colleague’s death to compare him to the American people who were all “fooled by the Bush administration” into supporting the War in Iraq.

Even Keith Olbermann knew better than to go there, changing the subject quickly after Matthews’ rant. He provided a moment of irony later when the two most biased “journalists” on television heralded Russert’s objectivity as if they understood what the word meant. Neither Olbermann or Matthews could carry Russert’s shoes, and Matthews in particular proved why last night.

More people watch Discovery Health than Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews combined. They could never aspire to be the journalist Russert was. Though Russert had his disagreements with conservatives, he was a far classier man than these two leftists. Matthews’ rant was intentional, though some might give him a pass for being out of the country. He later said he prepared two hours before coming on with KO. If Matthews’ opinions of Russert are true, the rest Americans are hard-working, naive, dupes.
